Maximize Windows on Your Mac With Cinch – FINALLY

FINALLY, the ability to maximize windows on your Mac. And it’s free (if you don’t mind a pop up every once in a while asking you to purchase it). But, if you like it I’d suggest paying the $7 (a very reasonable price) for the feature that should have been added to OS X years ago.

Irradiated Software – Cinch.

There’s a screencast on the developer’s page (above) that gives you the skinny on what the app can do.

Examples of how I’ve been using it:

  • Maximize apps like iTunes, Mail, Safari. Oh, what a joy. I actually hid my dock just to get more out of my screen.
  • Maximize Logos Bible software to the left and right of the screen.
  • Use with Logic Pro 8 to help maximize my screen usage.

Honestly, this is probably the most useful day to day app I’ve found in a long time. And yes, I bought a license for it.
Thanks Irradiated Software, well done!

In Christ

Ever wished that you could truly maximize a window on your Mac? Now you can!

Major Apple Product Announcement Set for Wednesday, Jan. 27

Could we be seeing a new Apple Tablet on Jan 27th 2010 from Apple Inc?

Major Apple Product Announcement Set for Wednesday, Jan. 27.

If so, what would you want to see in a Tablet Mac?

  • An OS like the iPhone?
  • An OS like the full version of Snow Leopard?
  • A price under $1000?
  • A 10" screen or a bigger, 15" screen?
  • ???

Would lower, more competitive, pricing be an awesome change to the lineup?
Can you envision a Mac that could be bought for $500 AFTER TAXES AND SHIPPING. Now that would bring a crowd for sure.

Here are some ways to speed up your website.

I did a few of these things and it made a noticeable difference, however it did not change the high “latency” in finding my domain.

Network Solutions tells me that my website has a large amount of latency due to custom code, but I cannot figure out how this could be.

Can anyone help?
